The Legend of the Amazons — Season 2
For this second season, Caval'Ange revisits the legend of the Amazons with nine evening shows scheduled between 13 July and 21 August 2026. Last year's characters return, joined by newcomers — including Theseus, King of Athens — along with new equestrian feats blending fire and lights.
Doors open at 7:30 pm to enjoy local catering, drinks and ice cream. The show starts at 8:30 pm and lasts a little over an hour, with a twenty-minute interval in the middle — the second part taking place after nightfall.

For its very first season, Caval'Ange gave twelve evening shows in July and August 2025, carried each night by more than twenty volunteers. In all, over 1,500 spectators attended the show: from around fifty people on the opening night, the audience grew to 100 or even 150 spectators in July, peaking at 250 people in August.
The audience was dazzled by the equestrian routines, the beauty of the horses and the riders dressed as Greek Amazons. The storyline, inspired by the mythology of the Amazon warrior women, unfolds in an exclusive open-air setting, less than a kilometre on foot from the centre of Mirepoix: an open arena of 1,200 m², surrounded by a black wall 4 metres high and over 20 metres long, from which the artists make their entrance through a huge red curtain — a true open-air theatre.
Seated all around the ring, just a metre behind the rail, spectators see the horses gallop right in front of them, to the rhythm of epic action-film music. Actors dressed as a ringmaster tell the story of the Amazons in the role of Aristotle and handle fire in gladiator costume: a show worthy of a peplum film. For catering, Ariège burgers and Espelette-pepper sausage sandwiches delight the audience.

Wedding at the Château de Lagarde — Summer 2024
In the summer of 2024, Caval'Ange performed in the majestic setting of the Château de Lagarde to celebrate an exceptional wedding. A bespoke equestrian performance led by Bucephalus, our very first dressage horse — a magnificent Gypsian stallion. Blending elegance, power and a deep bond with his rider, this open-air act gave the newlyweds and their guests an unforgettable moment of live performance, in the heart of a historic heritage site.
Domaine d'Auriac, Carcassonne — 18 June 2026
Equestrian performance on 18 June 2026 at the Domaine d'Auriac in Carcassonne, for the rugby club and the 13 Entreprises business club of Carcassonne, with Fuego, our second show horse of the Friesian breed, and our mare Ispazon, bred at our Montana stud.
